An alumnus of Harvard Business School, Rajiv Bakshi has two decades of multi-functional experience of working with global & Indian consumer product and services companies. Currently, he is the CEO of Reliance Entertainment’s Big Synergy and with his team of creative visionaries produces fiction shows, non-fiction game and reality series and unscripted content for OTT & TV platforms.
Earlier, Rajiv turnaround Discovery Networks India & South Asia. In the 13 years at Discovery, as head of Products, Content, and Marketing, he is credited for building its 11-channel portfolio, 10-year long leadership for Discovery Channel; pioneering lifestyle TV category with TLC; launching kids’ business in Asia – Discovery Kids and introducing HD television experience in India. Prior to Reliance, Rajiv was the CMO of Intex Technologies, where he envisioned the brand transformation and Go-To-Market strategies across all product verticals – Smartphones, LED TVs, ACs, Washing Machines, and Accessories.
Outside of work, Rajiv consults PE firms in media and digital sectors and is passionate to transform lives through his work at a kids NGO school and promoting rural innovators.
