Over a career spanning 16 years, he has worked in leadership positions covering different facets of the Broadcast & Digital industry. This has included content acquisition, partnerships with content creators, Gaming and 2nd Screen Interactivity Initiatives, Digital Content Creation, Revenue maximisation for Digital Products, Consumer insight generation.

Recently he has been entrusted to lead all Content, Partnerships, Gaming & 2nd Screen Initiatives for Sony LIV (Digital Business for Sony Pictures Network India).

Prior to this role, he was spearheading a business unit (Digital Products – SET) which was mandated to drive 2nd screen interactivity between TV and Smartphones, to find innovative ways to unlock new revenue streams & enhance consumer engagement in the digital ecosystem for Sony viewers.

He is passionate about bridging the gap between Media Industry and Academia and regularly visit several management institutes including MICA as guest faculty. He also enjoys reading & listening to Urdu poetry.

Vishnu Mohta, 35 years old, joined SVF in 2007, as the head of the Digital Cinema business. After making it the largest player in West Bengal and fourth largest network in India within a year of operations, Vishnu now heads the New Media division of SVF Entertainment. He just launched its first venture, hoichoi, the one-stop destination for Bengali entertainment – showcasing Originals (in the form of web series, films, shorts, and documentaries), Movies and free Music Streaming, targeting Bengalis in India and the Bengali diaspora.

Vishnu has worked with KPMG in Risk Advisory and Lloyds TSB in Corporate Strategy in their London offices, in the past. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bond University Australia and MSc in International Business from Aston University Birmingham, UK.

Armed with an exceptional ability for identifying solutions to entrenched problems, helping to collaborate with a solution-centric approach across all levels, he has built long-lasting profitable business relationships.

Vishnu is a member of prestigious organizations including Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). He is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), a society of top 10% of students from the best B schools of the world. Till recently, he was the Head of International Business, Times Network, a part of the Times of India group, India’s largest media conglomerate. He has expanded the international footprint of the Times group to over 100 countries on 5 continents in just over 5 years. In his previous stint, Naveen was the National Sales Director of Radio Mirchi and was instrumental in making Radio Mirchi the #1 radio network in revenues in India.

Naveen was awarded the Porter Prize for Strategy in 2016 by The Institute of Competitiveness for creating distinctive value for the Times Network International Business. He is also the recipient of the Chairman’s award of the Times of India group and the Flamethrower award at Radio Mirchi.

An engineering gold medalist, he has been a speaker at many institutes in India and in other countries including at various public forums on Business and Marketing. He is a member of various international media bodies like CASBAA, DISCOP, 3AF and has been a jury member of the annual broadcasting awards of the Association of International Broadcasters, UK.

She has remarkably leveraged her rich experience across OTT and broadcast media to build the brand, ALTBalaji.

Currently heading global marketing operations under the ALTBalaji umbrella, Divya brings with her 20 years of experience in marketing and brand building across industries — digital, broadcast, telecom and music. She has an impeccable record in launching brands in the sector of broadcast, telecom, music, and OTT; rejuvenation of brands, consumer lifetime value journeys, creating revenue opportunities, product designing and designing sales currencies through consumer insights across her earlier stints. AT Zee Group, she managed OZEE and Ditto marketing and subscriber base and was part of the leadership team that launched ZEE5 and stabilized the business. At Percept, she has grown the digital base 100% YOY and Onground attendance 125% growth YOY via various marketing and ticketing opportunities. At Tata Docomo, she was part of the core leadership team that conceptualized the product proposition “Pay per second” and launched the brand thereby in the first year itself achieving 3X targeted subscriber base. She has also worked with Barista, the retail coffee chain in her earlier years and created the term “The Barista generation” across the country as a slogan!

Prior to joining ALTBalaji, Divya was at ZEE5 where she conceptualized & developed the brand ‘ZEE5 ‘and ‘ZEE5 Originals’ as well as launched the platform and multiple original shows.

Manav Sethi

As Group CMO, Manav looks after both Eros Now and the studio business. He is responsible for
brand, consumer growth & retention, talent, trade and PR across both these businesses. In his
earlier role he was founder CMO for ALTBalaji, India’s first SVOD OTT platform which broke
the notion that Indians don’t pay for content.

In his last role at Getit, he launched multiple businesses and brands in India and Malaysia across
Yellow pages, Horizontal Marketplace and verticals like grocery and furniture, mobile wallet and
a merchant lending platform.

At Reliance Big Entertainment, he was the founder of India’s largest online local search
platform that got investment interests from Navteq & acquisition interest from Justdial. He was
also part of founding co-worked on launching businesses across FM Radio, Music, Motion
Pictures, Movie rental & download, online gaming & a JV with Dreamworks Animation SKG.

In his earlier stints, Manav exited a startup in stealth mode that created an IP that helped
telecom towers reduce their energy costs.

Clyde DeSouza is a VR Filmmaker, Speaker and Immersive Media Consultant.

His non-fiction book, Think in 3D, is well known with 3D filmmakers in Hollywood.

Think in 3D is also used as part of the syllabus at theUniv. of Southern California’s Immersive Media Courses.

His projects include masterclasses in Virtual Reality at Google MENA, speaking at Film Festivals and setting up collaborative Tech environments for Government& Media institutions.

Some notable Incubators setup by Clyde DeSouza includes A 3D Lab for Govt. of Abu Dhabi’s Two Four 54, an Immersive Journalism incubator at Times Television, India and a Media Lab at Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore.

He’s currently working on his next cinematic VR film, following the successful debut of Dirrogate – a film that brings the graphic novel format to Virtual Reality. The Film is licensed to Samsung VR and in 2017 to China-based Cinema Chain at the Asia TV forum, Singapore.

Rajiv Bakshi

An alumnus of Harvard Business School, Rajiv Bakshi has two decades of multi-functional experience of working with global & Indian consumer product and services companies. Currently, he is the CEO of Reliance Entertainment’s Big Synergy and with his team of creative visionaries produces fiction shows, non-fiction game and reality series and unscripted content for OTT & TV platforms.

Earlier, Rajiv turnaround Discovery Networks India & South Asia. In the 13 years at Discovery, as head of Products, Content, and Marketing, he is credited for building its 11-channel portfolio, 10-year long leadership for Discovery Channel; pioneering lifestyle TV category with TLC; launching kids’ business in Asia – Discovery Kids and introducing HD television experience in India. Prior to Reliance, Rajiv was the CMO of Intex Technologies, where he envisioned the brand transformation and Go-To-Market strategies across all product verticals – Smartphones, LED TVs, ACs, Washing Machines, and Accessories.

Outside of work, Rajiv consults PE firms in media and digital sectors and is passionate to transform lives through his work at a kids NGO school and promoting rural innovators.

Girish Dwibhashyam

Currently working as Vice President – Strategy and Business Head for a unique global OTT platform called Docubay which is launching in July. Docubay will be India’s 1st First and among worlds few VOD services focusing on factual entertainment in the form of Documentaries. A segment defining platform for global audiences.

An experienced professional in consumer internet space, particularly digital entertainment. He has been part of the OTT industry since its nascent stage. His last major assignment was with Singapore based VOD platform – Spuul, where he was part of the founding team and then went on to take on different roles before moving on as Vice President and Head of Content, Consumer Engagement and Business Development verticals. Prior to that, he has worked within multiple sectors including Media and Financial Services.

His forte includes Digital Growth, Strategy, Budget planning, Customer Acquisition, Retention, Partnerships and Alliances, Negotiations, Consumer Engagement, Content Programming & curations. He likes to work with UI/UX, Product Management, development teams to create amazing digital experiences. He has risen to the very top of marketing in the media – entertainment industry and over the course of his career, he has conceptualized and executed some of the biggest and most successful media brand campaigns, driven digital performance and has also run a successful start-up.

Abhishek holds a track record in strategy, business planning and execution expertise spanning television networks, internet video, content distribution, Ad Agencies, and brand licensing & marketing.

Currently, as the Head of Marketing & Business Partnerships at MX Player, he has the mandate to build the latest entrant into the OTT space as a brand to reckon with.

Abhishek is known to be a history buff and confesses to being a sports junkie; he has played under 19’s cricket for his home state Odisha and is a long distance runner.

He embarked on the digital journey at an early stage of his career (1996), with the launch of indianexpress.com. During the period 1997-2001, he set up digital media divisions for some of the leading advertising agencies in India – TBWA, Euro RSCG & DDB. In 2002 he joined Reliance Websites as part of the founding team. Responsible for brand & consumer marketing, launched 241 broadband cafes across 105 cities in India. Hemant spearheaded the India business for Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. for 6.5 years (2008-2014), responsible for leading Hungama’s growth as a dominant mobile entertainment player by providing strategic direction and leading business operations across content, product, technology, distribution, and monetization. Before joining Lokmat, in his role as an entrepreneur, Hemant launched ‘Happitoo’, India’s 1st nightlife planning app and managed his startup for 2 years (2014-2016).

Akshada Bhalerao is the Head of Content Syndication and Licensing at Pocket Aces, India’s leading digital media entertainment company.

Akshada is responsible for setting up and leading the syndication vertical and successfully capitalizing on the Pocket Aces IP, along with content and music licensing. Across the company’s channels, she has established and grown the distribution network across OTTs, In-Flight Entertainment, DTH, Telecom. Akshada also closed Pocket Aces’ content syndication deal with Web TV Asia and Youku Tudou, making Pocket Aces one of the first digital companies from India to have their content distributed in China. She led the music licensing for Little Things Season 2 on Netflix as well.

Prior to joining Pocket Aces, Akshada worked with Vuclip and Walt Disney India, where for the latter, she acquired content for their global territories with a focus on English entertainment content and struck key deals with Hollywood studios such as BBC Studios, PVR Pictures, etc. At Disney, she syndicated the global catalog in APAC regions and built key relationships with platforms like Star, HBO, Viacom. etc.
