Over a career spanning 16 years, he has worked in leadership positions covering different facets of the Broadcast & Digital industry. This has included content acquisition, partnerships with content creators, Gaming and 2nd Screen Interactivity Initiatives, Digital Content Creation, Revenue maximisation for Digital Products, Consumer insight generation.
Recently he has been entrusted to lead all Content, Partnerships, Gaming & 2nd Screen Initiatives for Sony LIV (Digital Business for Sony Pictures Network India).
Prior to this role, he was spearheading a business unit (Digital Products – SET) which was mandated to drive 2nd screen interactivity between TV and Smartphones, to find innovative ways to unlock new revenue streams & enhance consumer engagement in the digital ecosystem for Sony viewers.
He is passionate about bridging the gap between Media Industry and Academia and regularly visit several management institutes including MICA as guest faculty. He also enjoys reading & listening to Urdu poetry.
Vishnu Mohta, 35 years old, joined SVF in 2007, as the head of the Digital Cinema business. After making it the largest player in West Bengal and fourth largest network in India within a year of operations, Vishnu now heads the New Media division of SVF Entertainment. He just launched its first venture, hoichoi, the one-stop destination for Bengali entertainment – showcasing Originals (in the form of web series, films, shorts, and documentaries), Movies and free Music Streaming, targeting Bengalis in India and the Bengali diaspora.
Vishnu has worked with KPMG in Risk Advisory and Lloyds TSB in Corporate Strategy in their London offices, in the past. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bond University Australia and MSc in International Business from Aston University Birmingham, UK.
Armed with an exceptional ability for identifying solutions to entrenched problems, helping to collaborate with a solution-centric approach across all levels, he has built long-lasting profitable business relationships.
Vishnu is a member of prestigious organizations including Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). He is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), a society of top 10% of students from the best B schools of the world. Akash Tyagi heads OTT and new media business at Dish TV and manages the Watcho Product. He is keenly involved in Strategic planning and Digital Transformation initiatives at Dish & D2H, leading teams across product management, technology, monetization, and other business verticals. His teams focus is set on creating short format original content that is engaging, entertaining and socially relevant to an aspirational Millennial and Generation Z Indian audience.
Prior to Dish TV, Akash was heading Industry Consulting for Media & Entertainment vertical at Adobe. Akash hails over 12 years of experience in Product Management and Digital Transformation across dynamic industries like Media, Internet technologies and Fin-tech. He had been associated with Adobe Systems, TO THE NEW, HT Media, TSYS and Fiserv in the past.

As the Senior Vice-President and Head Marketing for India and international markets at ALTBalaji, Divya Dixit plays a vital role in driving the digital platform’s vision of shaping its leadership in the fast-growing and dynamic OTT sector. She has remarkably leveraged her rich experience across OTT and broadcast media to build the brand, ALTBalaji.
Currently heading global marketing operations under the ALTBalaji umbrella, Divya brings with her 20 years of experience in marketing and brand building across industries — digital, broadcast, telecom and music. She has an impeccable record in launching brands in the sector of broadcast, telecom, music, and OTT; rejuvenation of brands, consumer lifetime value journeys, creating revenue opportunities, product designing and designing sales currencies through consumer insights across her earlier stints. AT Zee Group, she managed OZEE and Ditto marketing and subscriber base and was part of the leadership team that launched ZEE5 and stabilized the business. At Percept, she has grown the digital base 100% YOY and Onground attendance 125% growth YOY via various marketing and ticketing opportunities. At Tata Docomo, she was part of the core leadership team that conceptualized the product proposition “Pay per second” and launched the brand thereby in the first year itself achieving 3X targeted subscriber base. She has also worked with Barista, the retail coffee chain in her earlier years and created the term “The Barista generation” across the country as a slogan!
Prior to joining ALTBalaji, Divya was at ZEE5 where she conceptualized & developed the brand ‘ZEE5 ‘and ‘ZEE5 Originals’ as well as launched the platform and multiple original shows.

Roshni Ghosh is VP, Content and Creatives at Eros digital, a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry. She is spearheading the content commissioning and editing on the company’s OTT platform, Eros Now. Ms Ghosh has over 12 years of experience in media entertainment and digital space. She has been a part of the founding team of Arré along with Ronnie Screwvala and B. Sai Kumar. She has created television properties such as Emotional Atyachar and Savdhaan India for UTV and Star India in the past. As part of the Content Development team for Star Plus, she has commissioned and created several successful shows. Her expertise comes from an understanding of content and the need for it in a complex market like India. Her mandate at Eros Now is to commission long-form original series and digital films for the platform whilst also seeing them through the creation and marketing process. She also plays a key role in collaborating with content creators outside of India for commissioning and acquiring of existing content.

As Group CMO, Manav looks after both Eros Now and the studio business. He is responsible for
brand, consumer growth & retention, talent, trade and PR across both these businesses. In his
earlier role he was founder CMO for ALTBalaji, India’s first SVOD OTT platform which broke
the notion that Indians don’t pay for content.
In his last role at Getit, he launched multiple businesses and brands in India and Malaysia across
Yellow pages, Horizontal Marketplace and verticals like grocery and furniture, mobile wallet and
a merchant lending platform.
At Reliance Big Entertainment, he was the founder of India’s largest online local search
platform that got investment interests from Navteq & acquisition interest from Justdial. He was
also part of founding co-worked on launching businesses across FM Radio, Music, Motion
Pictures, Movie rental & download, online gaming & a JV with Dreamworks Animation SKG.
In his earlier stints, Manav exited a startup in stealth mode that created an IP that helped
telecom towers reduce their energy costs.

His non-fiction book, Think in 3D, is well known with 3D filmmakers in Hollywood.

His projects include masterclasses in Virtual Reality at Google MENA, speaking at Film Festivals and setting up collaborative Tech environments for Government& Media institutions.

He’s currently working on his next cinematic VR film, following the successful debut of Dirrogate – a film that brings the graphic novel format to Virtual Reality. The Film is licensed to Samsung VR and in 2017 to China-based Cinema Chain at the Asia TV forum, Singapore.
